Luuppi Youth Centre

Introduction

Luuppi Youth Activity Centre (Luuppi youth centre, Luuppi Media, Luuppi Askis & Luuppi Skatepark) in Kontula offers meaningful and high-quality recreational activities for children, young people and young adults aged 9 to 17.

However, the activity centre also offers a variety of activities for children and young adults (-29). See more detailed age groupings under our various centres/functions.

Kontula Youth Centre

At Kontula Youth Centre, you can meet your friends in a safe and supervised environment and get to know other young people your age. Most of our activities are open, which means you can help plan and organise activities together with other young people and youth workers.

At the youth centre, you will find:

band rehearsal and recording studio facilities
a dance studio
a performance stage
video game consoles
billiards, table football and table tennis.

Girls’ Youth Centre

The Girls’ Youth Centre is for girls aged 9–17. Activities take place every Monday at Kontula Youth Centre Luuppi (Ostostie 4, 00940 Helsinki).

Girls aged 9–12: 2:00 pm–4:15 pm
Girls aged 13–17: 5:00 pm–9:00 pm

On Mondays, only female youth workers are on duty. The front door remains locked throughout the session, and young people can enter by ringing the doorbell.

The Girls’ Youth Centre offers a safe space to meet friends, play games, chat, and plan and organise activities together with other young people and youth workers. We also arrange themed evenings, excursions and other fun activities.

Mothers, aunts, sisters, and other female family members or trusted adults are warmly welcome to visit and get to know the Girls’ Youth Centre on Mondays.

The last Girls’ Youth Centre session of the spring season will be on 18 May 2026. Activities will resume on 17 August 2026.
