Helsinki is renewing the facades of its youth centres. Tell us what you think!

Helsinki is redesigning the facades of its youth centres. There are approximately 65 youth centres in the City of Helsinki whose signage and neon signs are being renewed. The purpose of the renewal is to create an interesting and modern look for the youth centres. For this purpose, we want to hear opinions from young people on two sign proposals.

Your feedback can make a difference!

We are collecting feedback and ideas with a survey. Take the survey here: https://survey.alchemer.eu/s3/90551274/Nuorisotalot-kysely

Together with young people

Good and accessible signage makes it easier to find the services and improves quality, customers’ comfort and safety. We want the youth centre renewal to make them easier to find and be an expression of how safe the youth centres are as a meeting place. It’s also important that the unique characteristics and emphases of the youth centres are considered along with diversity.

Young people and employees at the youth centres have participated in the different phases of the design project through interviews and workshops. In addition to the ongoing survey, the project will be assessed in terms of accessibility with the city’s own and third-party experts.
