Viikki Youth Centre

Introduction

Viikki Youth Centre hosts a wide range of activities for young people of different ages on a weekly basis. You can either set up an activity group yourself or join an existing group. You can also register for the recreational activities organised by various organisations at the youth centre.

Come and find your own thing!

Viikki Youth Centre has plenty of room for you to do exactly what you want to do. You can cook in the youth centre’s large kitchen with your friends and youth workers. In the lobby, you can meet up with your friends, play board games or just hang out. The two pool tables in the lobby also allow for larger tournaments. We also have a ping pong table and table football.

In the sports hall, you can play floorball, train your boxing skills or set up your own dance group, for example. There is a good sound system and lighting in the facility, so you can hold a disco or another event. The facility is also equipped with large mirrors for dance groups, and you can join the youth centre’s own dance group (K-pop, hip hop).

The youth centre also includes several small group rooms where you can freely craft items, talk in peace with your friends or play the latest console games on a PlayStation or Nintendo Switch.

Viikin Youth Center opening hours from 12 August 2026:

JUNIOR GROUP (3rd–6th graders)

Mon, Wed, Thu 2:00–4:15 PM

Fri 3:30–5:15 PM

YOUNG PEOPLE (7th graders–17-year-olds)

Mon, Wed, Thu 5:00–9:00 PM

Fri 6:00–10:30 PM

SATURDAYS (5 Sep, 19 Sep, 3 Oct, 17 Oct, 31 Oct, 14 Nov, 28 Nov and 12 Dec)

Junior group 3:30–5:15 PM and young people 6:00–10:30 PM

PLEASE NOTE! Youth workers have breaks on Mon, Wed and Thu from 4:30–5:00 PM, and on Fri and Sat from 5:30–6:00 PM. During these breaks, the youth center is completely closed. We will be available again once the break is over.
