In the Vartiosaari camping area, you can enjoy summer days by the sea.
The camping area is located on Vartiosaari island in eastern Helsinki, near Laajasalo and Tammisalo. The camping area is intended for use by Helsinki-based youth organisations, youth groups and the municipality’s residents for various camps and events.
At the heart of the camping area is the beautiful, white two-storey Villa Furubacka, completed in 1908. The area also features a grill shelter, a beach, rowing boats and pedalos as well as a floating sauna.
If you follow a trail, you can get to a lookout spot on an outcrop to view the striking landscapes of this scenically valuable area and to a nature trail to study the special characteristics of the island.
