Bengtsår camping areas
The Bengtsår camp island area comprises seven separate campsite areas, each of which has a jetty, a kitchen shelter, an outhouse, a campfire site and a tent area. There are also two wood-fired saunas available.

Campsite facilities from 1 June
Motorboats intended for use by the camps are stored at the island’s main jetty and can be hired via the island’s information point (in the same way as other equipment). The boats available for hire are fitted with electric outboard motors, and instructions on their use are always provided before the boat is handed over to the camps.

Camp peace and tidiness of camp sites
Camp peace must be observed on the camp island: every camp on the site must respect the space of other camps and observe the night-time quiet hours starting at 22.00.
Each camp must clear up after itself, sort its rubbish, clean the campsite and toilets before leaving, and generally leave the campsite tidy for the next groups.
Saunas
There are two wood-fired saunas on the island (Merisauna and Rantasauna), which can be booked for use by camps during the summer season. Each camp can book at least two sessions during the camp.
Sauna sessions at Merisauna are from 13:00–15:00, 15:00–17:00, 18:00–20:00 and 20:00–22:00, and at Rantasauna from 13:00–16:00, 16:00–19:00 and 19:00–22:00.
You can enquire about available slots from the information desk staff once the camp has started on the island. Camp participants are responsible for heating the sauna themselves. It is advisable to allow a couple of hours for heating the sauna.
Please ensure that the sauna remains warm for the next users and bear in mind that hot water is in limited supply. Large camps should ensure there is enough water by also heating the water tanks. The mornings are set aside for cleaning the saunas, during which time they are not in use. Merisauna sauna has a washing machine and detergent for the camps’ use. The washing machine may be used freely during the day, provided it does not disturb the peace of other sauna-goers. For example, the morning is a good time to use the washing machine.
Merisauna: also available for accommodation from autumn to spring
The sauna facilities include a wood-fired steam room, two washrooms with showers and two changing rooms. In addition to the sauna facilities, the building features a large fireplace room, a combined living room and kitchen, and accommodation in six rooms for a total of 19 people.
The accommodation rooms are equipped with beds, duvets and pillows. Leirisaari does not provide bed linen; you must bring your own. The kitchen area is equipped with cutlery and cooking utensils for around 30 people, a dishwasher, an electric hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a coffee machine. There is also a washing machine available.
Rantasauna: also available for accommodation from autumn to spring
The sauna facilities include a wood-fired steam room, one washroom and one changing room. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has four bunk beds and the other has three bunk beds. In addition, the sauna complex has a lounge area with a fireplace and a kitchenette.
Accommodation is available for a total of 14 people. The bunk beds are equipped with mattresses, pillows and duvets. Leirisaari does not provide bed linen; you must bring your own. The kitchenette is equipped with crockery and cutlery for around 10 people, a dishwasher, an electric hob, a microwave, a fridge-freezer and a coffee maker.
