The Environmental Activities Youth Work Unit will hold an animal-themed adventure camp during the autumn break from Monday to Thursday, 16–19 October 2023. The camp is organised in cooperation with the Piispala Youth Centre, and will be held on the premises of the Youth Centre in Kannonkoski.
We will plan the camp programme with the participants, which will include animal care, moving about and adventuring in nature, handicrafts and other enjoyable camp activities.
The camp is aimed at teens and young people aged 13–28. The camp includes the Nuotta coaching process, aimed at strengthening self-esteem, friendship and teamwork skills, helping you find your strengths, and learning to manage day-to-day life.
The camp fee is €50 and includes accommodation, train travel, meals and the programme.
The camp can accommodate 12 young people. If you would like to attend the camp, please send us a short message by 22 September to email@example.com explaining who you are and why you would like to attend. Please include your contact information in the message. If you find it difficult to write, you can also call us. Those selected to attend will receive a camp letter with more detailed information about the camp at the end of September.
