Schools
The Traffic Town’s teaching visits are on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. We will notify the public immediately when teaching can be booked again.
The Traffic Town’s traffic schools for schoolchildren are intended for 1st–3rd graders. They are lessons lasting for approximately 1.5 hours that include theory and practical exercises. The practical exercises are carried out by walking and cycling. The teaching is free of charge for every school.
The theory portion of the traffic education for schoolchildren teaches them how to stay safe in traffic as pedestrians and cyclists.
The content of the teaching comprises the most important traffic rules for pedestrians and cyclists, such as:
- traffic signs
- pedestrian crossings
- the significance of rules
- choosing safe routes
- the effect of seasons on navigating traffic.
