Introduction to the facilities
The recreation hall features a large field that can be divided into three sections with divider curtains.
Field area sizes:
- Field 1: 209m²
- Field 2: 103 m²
- Field 3: 312 m²
Field 2 is equipped with mirrors suitable for dancing.
The following boundary markings will be painted on the fields in spring 2021: basketball free throw lines, badminton boundary lines, volleyball boundary lines and field boundary lines for large and small fields.
The recreation hall’s facilities are accessible, and they include an accessible shower and toilet. The facilities are equipped with Wi-Fi.
The recreation hall and its yard areas are substance-free areas, and we follow the principles of the Smoke-free Helsinki programme. We require all users to sort their waste.
The recreation hall’s equipment
Malminkartano Recreation Hall is suitable for many types of recreational activities. The hall includes e.g. the following equipment and supplies: floorball goals, basketball hoops, handball/futsal goals, a volleyball net, a badminton net, exercise mats, sticks, rackets and balls. A speaker suitable for playing music is also available.
All use of the equipment must be agreed upon separately when reservations are granted. You can also use your own equipment in the facilities. Please note that the storage space is limited.
