Detached youth work in Helsinki
The city of Helsinki’s detached youth work meets young people during their free time. The detached youth workers moves on foot in parks, shopping malls, the railway station and other places popular with young people. The target group is all young people and young adults unfer the age of 29.
The detached youth work is anonymous, voluntary and free of charge. Its purpose is to make Helsinki a safer place for young people with the help of youth work.
