Safe ways to party and fun activities for young people on May Day
On May Day Eve, about 90 youth workers and volunteers will be out and about in the city, supporting young people. They will move around the city centre, Kaivopuisto Park and other places popular with young people, ready to talk and help.
Parents are encouraged to discuss with their teens in advance where and with whom they will be spending their evening. The safest way to celebrate May Day is to look after yourself and your friends and to ask for help when it’s needed.
Free May Day activities in youth centres
Youth centres around Helsinki offer a range of fun, free and substance-free May Day activities for young people – come along!
