Applications open for the thousands of summer jobs offered by the City of Helsinki
The application period for the summer jobs of the City of Helsinki has started. Finland’s largest employer will again this year offer around 3,500 summer and seasonal jobs and annual leave substitute positions in the different City divisions and enterprises. New vacancies will be posted on a weekly basis.
Approximately one thousand of the City’s summer jobs are intended for young people. The City has more than 700 summer jobs available for people under the age of 18. Additionally, the Siistikesä! (‘Tidy Summer!’) project offers nearly 300 summer jobs for 16–20-year-olds.
You can apply for summer jobs in Helsinki through the City’s recruitment system at helsinkirekry.fi. The application period is specified separately for each job. New jobs will be posted almost weekly, so we recommend keeping an active eye on the website. You can also save your searches for open jobs to keep you notified of new vacancies.
