Outdoor activities at Malmi youth work unit

Description

During the summer, we will be playing outdoor games, making cosmetics with natural ingredients, balancing on a rope course, playing ballgames and enjoying the season.  

The highlight of the activities will take place on the first two Fridays (11 and 18 June) and the Thursday before Midsummer (24 June) when we will hold a basketball tournament in Malmi Youth Centre’s backyard. During the event, we will also have a BBQ!  

Activities will take place in Malmi Youth Centre’s backyard in week 23 (Tuesday 8 June – Friday 11 June) and week 25 (Tuesday 22 June – Thursday 24 June).  

Activities will also take place around Pukinmäki (e.g. Pukinmäki sports field, Tapaninvainio beach) in week 24 (Tuesday 15 June – Friday 18 June) and week 26 (Tuesday 29 June – Friday 2 July).  

Week 26 (28 June – 4 July): activities around Pukinmäki, including urban orienteering, daytrips, and card games and basketball in the park. On Friday, the backyard of Malmi Youth Centre will host summer Olympics.  

Week 27 (5–11 July): games and other playful activities in the local parks around Pukinmäki. Come and join us!  

Week 28 (12–18 July): join us for games and other playful activities in the local parks around Pukinmäki, and learn to do graffiti with stencils at Pihlajamäki Youth Park.  

Week 29 (19–25 July): this week more activities can be found at the local parks of Pukinmäki and Malmi, in addition to which you can join us on daytrips.
