Free-of-charge leisure activities for pupils in grades 3–9 (school year 2026-2027)

Description

The Finnish model for leisure activities (Harrastamisen Suomen malli) in Helsinki offers pupils in grades 3–9 free-of-charge activities in and around Helsinki’s schools. The hobbies have been chosen based on the wishes of children and young people living in Helsinki.

Information about hobby groups and registration instructions will be published on the Hobbies website and on the schools' websites by August 21, 2026. You can also take part in leisure activities at another school.

Sign up directly with the organiser from August 24, 2026 at 12:00 onwards.

The activities for the school year 2026-2027 will start on August 31, 2026.
