Gals' Game Night for ages 16-28

Description

The event is meant for 16-to-28-year-old women and girls while respecting gender self-identification and diversity. We speak both Finnish and English at the event.

Are you interested in PC or console gaming in a safer space? Do you want to try out a VR headset? Are you looking for friends interested in the same things as you? Come and get your gaming on at this gaming event meant for women and girls! At other womens and girls' gaming nights we played Overwatch, Jackbox games and Mario Kart, what should we play this time?

Gamehouse Sture has 20 powerful gaming PCs, Nintento Switch and Playstation 5 consoles, VR headsets and loads of board games. The event has youth workers (Siikku and Jonathan!) there to help you out with technical difficulties, choosing games and finding people to play game with.

Playing with the PCs requires your own accounts, so make sure you know how to log in to your Steam, Epic or Battlenet account. You can download games to the PCs with our super-fast internet, as long as you have a license for it. PEGI 18 games are not allowed in the space due to there being under 18-year-olds present.

We require the free Helsinki Youth Services membership card, more commonly known as Jässäri. The first time you visit you don't have to have everything ready, the youth workers can help you out! More information about Jässäri can be read here.
