Summer courtyard opening: Täti Hattara ja Töötti – an interactive clown performance
Description
You are welcome to the opening of our library’s summer season and summer courtyard on Thursday, 2 June.
The programme includes an interactive clown performance and a presentation concert on J. S. Bach. Reading dog Nella will be available for readers.
Täti Hattara ja Töötti – an interactive clown performance at 16:00–16.30.
Täti Hattara (Auntie Candyfloss) is a funny lady, a happy fool who thinks she is the second best babysitter in the world right after Mary Poppins. The audience can see that her child-raising methods are a bit strange: she serves candyfloss for breakfast and allows children to do anything. All sorts of things happen to her, and she does not always know what to do. Fortunately, the audience can help!
Täti Hattara ja Töötti is a performance by Tuomikko Theatre. The central character is Täti Hattara, a clown who is assigned the task of taking care of an egg. How do you get a stuck baby out of an egg and how long are you supposed to take care of a baby bird? In addition to childcare, there will be funny dances and singing games. The performance will feature elements of clownery, puppet theatre and mask theatre.
Script, set design, puppetry and performance: Terhi Tuomikko
Music: Lasse Hukka
