Satakolkyt
The Satakolkyt (‘130’) project aims to inspire the city’s residents to use Helsinki’s shorelines for leisure and exercise, and at the same time to clean away all the litter from these areas. The idea for this cleaning campaign came from the local young people who are concerned about rubbish in the environment.
In addition to the City of Helsinki, the project is run by four associations: The Helsinki Metropolitan Area Guides and Scouts, Helsinki YWCA, 4H Helsinki and Helsinki’s Green Youth.
