AV Equipment Lending Service
The AV Equipment Lending Service provides equipment for young people under the age of 29 in Helsinki, youth groups, and youth organizations operating in Helsinki. Lighting and sound equipment can be borrowed free of charge through the service.
NOTE: The AV Equipment Lending Service is closed during the summer:

Equipment can be borrowed by contacting us via email at: avlainaamo@hel.fi. All reservations must be made by email. Additional information and inquiries are also handled via email. Reservations must be made at least one week before the start of the loan period.
The equipment storage is located in Suvilahti at Tiivistämö, address: Kaasutehtaankatu 1 (see map).
Equipment pick-up and return by car take place at the Tiivistämö storage facility, located in Building 4 in Suvilahti. A map showing the pick-up and return location will be sent when the reservation is confirmed.
Equipment can only be picked up and returned at agreed times. Unfortunately, the AV Lending Service is not able to provide training on how to use the equipment. The borrower must be able to operate the equipment independently.
NOTE: Some equipment is heavy. Please be prepared to carry the equipment to your vehicle yourself.
When collecting equipment, the borrower must present a valid ID. A loan agreement will be signed upon pick-up. Equipment must be collected and returned at the agreed times.
By signing the agreement, the borrower commits to compensating for any damage that is not due to normal wear and tear.
In case of loss, the equipment must be compensated in full. Equipment must be returned in a condition that allows it to be immediately loaned to the next user. Any damage or faults must be reported to the lending service representative immediately or at the latest upon return.
