Free activities during the autumn break
During the autumn holiday, there are dozens of different ways to spend your time at youth centers, sports venues, libraries, cultural centers, and museums all around Helsinki. Most of the city’s autumn break activities are free of charge.

At youth centers, the program includes trips, tournaments, workshops, game nights, and music events. There are plenty of free and informal group activities available, such as movie nights and cooking, as well as hanging out without the need for prior registration.
Everyone also has the opportunity to influence the daily schedule. You can share your ideas and wishes with a youth worker.
All activities at the youth centers are led by professionals in youth work. To participate in youth center activities, a guardian must register a Jässäri membership card for their child at nuorten.hel.fi/en/jassari.
The autumn break in Helsinki takes place from October 13th to October 17th, 2025.
