Annantalo Art Saturdays allow the whole family to spend time together enjoying art in open workshops – stop by briefly or stay for a longer visit.

In this workshop, we explore the book Orvokkeja Violalle by Karoliina Pertamo and make our own violets to attach to our clothes or bags.

Instructed by illustrator Karoliina Pertamo.

No advance skills are needed to participate, and all are welcome. Hearing protection and other sensory aids are available for children if needed. There is also a quiet room in the premises. Annantalo Art Saturday is free of charge and suitable for people of all languages.

Orvokkeja Violalle is part of the Children’s Book Festival, which is held at Annantalo from 7 October 2026 to 27 February 2027. The Children’s Book Festival celebrates children’s picture books and reading through an exhibition, author visits, workshops and events.
