Description

DreamWorks Animation presents the movie The Wild Robot, based on Peter Brown’s beloved children’s books.

The epic adventure follows the robot ROZZUM unit 7134, more commonly known as Roz. When the robot is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island, she must learn to adapt to the harsh environment and build relationships with the island’s animals. Eventually, she becomes the foster parent of an orphaned gosling.

The film is a powerful story about finding yourself. It also explores in an exciting way the bridge between technology and nature, as well as what it means to be alive and connected to all living things.

Peter Brown’s first The Wild Robot book was published in the United States in 2016, and it immediately became a phenomenon. The book has since grown into a trilogy. Brown’s book series has won numerous awards.
