AnnanHouse Disco: To the ends of the earth
Description
The highly popular AnnanHouse disco event for the whole family will once again take over Annantalo!
AnnanHouse is an electronic dance music event for the entire family, which introduces visitors to the wonderful atmosphere that is disco culture. The theme of this year's disco is ‘to the ends of the earth.’ While dancing, we celebrate different cultures and learn more about our shared world.
Stop by the Annantalo wardrobe and borrow some great disco gear, or dress according to your own culture and bring your own traditions to the dance floor!
Annantalo’s own DJ Nicolas Sebastien will be in charge of the music, spinning top records from house to disco. During the night, you can join dance sessions, pop by open art workshops in the theme of the event and take guided tours of the exhibition.
16:00 Pukulainaamo TERRA for borrowing outfits is opened and workshops start.
16:30 The doors to the disco are opened.
16:45 Dance session with Fiona Fiouh (pronounced Feou) and a clucking guest
17:30 and 18:15 Breakdance guests B-boy Pluto and Ramona show off their moves
19:00 The disco closes and workshops end
At the end of the disco night, Moo Clown and Cheick and his djembe drum will lead the disco crowd to the front yard of Annantalo to enjoy Moo’s funny antics and some popcorn.
Annantalo's own Café Napero will be open throughout the event!
Workshops 16:00–19:00:
Last entry to the workshops is at 18:45.
