Sitratori urban oasis

Description

The urban oasis invites passers-by to have a rest and enjoy the atmosphere in Sitratori square! Come and paint and plant flowers for the enjoyment of everyone.

For summer 2025, a temporary green and creative urban oasis will be constructed on Sitratori square, combining increased relaxation space surrounded by vegetation with colourful and playful elements. The vegetation of the urban oasis is inspired by local nature and the plants in Mätäjoki river. The colourful elements will be created in collaboration with young people and local residents in painting and DIY workshops in the spring.
