Packer and packing pouch sewing workshop for young transmasculine people (17- 25yo)
Description
Are you interested in making your own packer? Do you want
to avoid your packer falling out of you pants? Are you
interested in packing but haven't been able to get a packer?
Join our packer and packing pouch workshop, where you can
sew your own packer or packing pouch out of fabric.
You don’t need prior experience with sewing. There will be
sewing patterns and instructions for different types and sizes
of packers and packing pouches in the workshop. The peer
instructors can help you choose a suitable pattern for your
body and skills and will help with sewing. The sewing
machines and other materials are offered at the workshop. If
you have a fabric you like, you can bring it with you if you
want to.
The workshop is a good way to get free gender affirming
items and learn how to sew them yourself. It is also a good
opportunity to meet your peers in a safe environment while
doing something fun. The workshop is aimed at 17-25 year
old transmasculine and other gender diverse or questioning
youth, who use packers or want to try packing. It is not
possible to join the workshop after 17:45. You may leave the
workshop earlier if needed. There is space for 10 people and
spaces will be filled first come first served. Everyone must
abide by the safer space principles at the workshop.
