Adventure Excursion on Vartiosaari

At the beginning of summer, Vartiosaari comes alive – and so do its secrets. During the excursion days, children aged 9–12 will dive into an adventure where they move through the forest like detectives and solve the island’s mysteries.

During the excursion days, we will enjoy summer together: explore Vartiosaari, grill snacks, and spend time in nature. Throughout the days, we will make use of natural materials and nature’s offerings, relax in hammocks, and enjoy the summer atmosphere.

The excursion days will take place on Vartiosaari at the Mäntyniemi camp center and its surroundings from Monday to Wednesday, 1–3 June, from 10 am to 4 pm. During the excursion days, shared transportation will be arranged from the Reposalmi pier in Laajasalo.

Please bring your own packed lunch for the excursion. In addition, we will offer all participants a small savory grilled snack during the excursion days.

The excursion days are free of charge.
