Cultural Mall Fest in Kontula

Description

Come celebrate Helsinki Day at Kontula-aukio and in Luuppi!

The festival programme includes something for everyone: theatre, arts and crafts, music and dance from morning to evening.
 

Kontula-aukio

9-10 a.m.  Outdoor theatre performance for kids 
12 noon->  Repainting of the Kontula Sun street art piece
12 noon–2 p.m. Streamer decorating workshop
2–4 p.m. Live dance music and old-timey street dance to the tunes of Wanhat Mestarit 

In addition to the aforementioned programme, the Borough Liaison for Eastern Helsinki will hand out 100 free popsicles from 12 noon forward. First come, first served!

Luuppi

5–8.30 Live music, several bands and artists. A more detailed schedule will be published closer to the event.

The event is organised by Maria Baric Company, Kontula Art School, RaivioBumann, the City of Helsinki and the Ostarifestari event team.

Organisers reserve the right to make any necessary changes to the programme.
The dance and live music events have received support under the Kontula Cultural Mall Project.
