Description

The class involves exercises that increase mobility, improve posture and enhance body control. The exercises are performed standing up and on the floor. Calm music is played in the background during the lesson. 

Regional exercise services are low-threshold exercise activities organised by the City of Helsinki Sports Services in the Kaarela, Mellunkylä, Vuosaari and Malmi-Tapulikaupunki regions.  

Regional exercise services aim to increase the wellbeing and sense of community of the residents while promoting an active lifestyle by providing versatile exercise opportunities close to where the people live. 

No advance registration is required, and you can join the activities at any time during the season. You will only need the regional exercise pass. 

The customer card required for the regional exercise pass costs 4 euros, and the pass can be loaded at the Liikuntamylly hall in Myllypuro, Töölö Sports Hall, Maunula Sports Hall and Kontulan Kuntokellari Gym, as well as the Itäkeskus, Pirkkola, Yrjönkatu and Jakomäki swimming halls. Please note! Customer cards are not sold at the Maunula Sports Hall or the Kontulan Kuntokellari Gym. 

The regional exercise pass entitles the holder to participate in sports classes in all four regions. 

The price of the regional exercise pass is €30. Prices for the autumn season will decrease as the season progresses, as follows: 

31 August–27 September: full price 
28 September–25 October: 25% discount 
26 October–22 November: 50% discount 
23 November–13 December: 75% discount
