Seikkailutalo Climbing Club

Description

Seikkailutalo kicks off the autumn with a climbing club! The climbing club is aimed at children aged 9–12.

In the club, participants will explore different forms of climbing, practise new skills and, above all, have fun together in a great group. No previous climbing experience is required.

In September, the club meets at Seikkailutalo in Kallahti, with a focus on outdoor climbing. Activities will include tree and rock climbing, abseiling and traditional mountaineering skills. In October, we will move indoors for wall climbing at Liikuntamylly in Myllypuro. On the final session, we will take a trip to the climbing arena at REDI shopping centre.

The club meets on Thursdays from 3:00–4:30 pm on the following dates:

September
3 September – Seikkailutalo, outdoor climbing
10 September – Seikkailutalo, outdoor climbing
17 September – Seikkailutalo, outdoor climbing
24 September – Seikkailutalo, outdoor climbing

October
1 October – Liikuntamylly, indoor wall climbing
8 October – Liikuntamylly, indoor wall climbing
22 October – Trip to the climbing arena at REDI shopping centre

By registering, you can join the climbing club activities in September and October. Registration for the November–December climbing club opens at the end of October.

The activities are free of charge! However, participation requires a free membership card from the Youth Services, which must be obtained in advance at: https://nuorten.hel.fi/en/jassari-4/
