Vimma-sports Skateboarding

Description

In skateboarding, you move around and perform various tricks on a board. The sport can be done in many ways and the tricks can be modified. This versatility is what makes skateboarding so much fun and so liberating.

You can borrow a board and protective gear for the class.

In cooperation with Helsinki YMCA.

The instructors speak Finnish and English.

This activity is part of Vimma-sports, organised by the City of Helsinki for 12–16-year-olds free of charge. Vimma-sports include more than 20 different sports organised around Helsinki.
