Vimma-sports Guided gym workout for girls

Description

Are you interested in gym training but not sure how to get started? Welcome to develop your own skills, and learn techniques and methods! The purpose of this course is to familiarize you with various equipment and machines, as well as different ways to build strength, endurance, and mobility in a gym environment. We will use free weights, various equipment such as resistance bands, and different gym machines during the sessions.

In this course, everyone will have the opportunity to challenge themselves in a suitable way and, together with the instructor, discover new ways to move and improve!

The instructor speaks both Finnish and English.

This activity is part of the City of Helsinki's affordable Vimma-sports program for 16–22-year-olds. Vimma offers over 20 different sports, organized throughout Helsinki. You don’t need to register in advance for Vimma sessions. To participate, you need a downloadable membership card, which gives you access to the facilities. The card costs 4 euros.
