Come to Silmu to cook, hang out and learn everyday skills. The main role in the social soup kitchen is to cook and eat delicious vegetarian food together. In addition, in Silmu it is possible to repair and mend clothes, do laundry, play games and do various handicraft projects. Activities are planned together with the participants. Tell us what you would like to do!
The soup kitchen is mainly organized at the Youth Activity Center Silmu in Itä-Pasila, but we also do trips and a few times during the spring the soup kitchen moves to Oodi. We meet twice a month.
The social soup kitchen starts on Saturday 17.1. from 2-8 pm at the Youth Activity Center Silmu at Vislauskuja 10. You can also register for the activity during the season. Participation in the activity is free of charge.
Participation in the activities requires a free membership card from the youth services, which can be obtained from: Get a Jässäri and stay on top - Youth Helsinki
Dates: 17.1., 31.1., 14.2., 28.2., 14.3., 28.3., 11.4., 25.4. and 9.5.
