Drum legend Chad Wackerman and The L.A. All-Stars are coming to Finland in March.
“The Impossible Rock Fusion Tour” is a unique showcase of extraordinary musicianship, band chemistry, and explosive energy — a show you won’t want to miss.
Sharing the stage with Wackerman, known for his long-time collaborations with Allan Holdsworth and Frank Zappa, are bassist Jimmy Haslip, a founding member of the Grammy-winning group Yellowjackets; keyboardist Steve Hunt, who has recorded and toured with artists such as Stanley Clarke and Billy Cobham; and new-generation guitar virtuoso Alex Machacek, known for performing in Terry Bozzio’s Out Trio and touring as the guitarist for Planet X.
This powerhouse quartet of top-tier rock/fusion masters will perform their own compositions, selected works from their collaborators — including Allan Holdsworth and Yellowjackets — as well as breathtaking improvised jams created on the spot.
The concert will be opened by solo fingerstyle guitarist Jeff Aug, who over the years has toured with artists such as Scott Henderson, Greg Howe, and Stu Hamm.
