K-pop Beginners
Description
Registration for the class starts on December 15 at 9:00 AM.
We meet weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Access to the dance hall is through the library, as the youth center is closed on Tuesdays. The dance hall is about halfway through the library, with the door on the right-hand side. There is a K-pop class in progress—please wait until the previous group comes out.
K-pop is a lively and energetic dance style from South Korea, danced to Korean pop music.
During the classes, you’ll get familiar with different K-pop subgenres and their unique characteristics.
K-pop has gained great popularity in the 2000s in Western countries as well—and it’s no wonder, as the style is captivating and leaves a smile on your face for a long time!
The teachers are talented young dancers who help everyone learn something new.
At the end of the season, the dance performance created during the classes will be presented at a joint event, if it is possible to organize.
