Headz Up Gaming (K12-17)
Description
The idea for the Headz Up Gaming event was brought up in the Youth Budget a year ago as a proposal for holding a large LAN party – and now it's finally happening!
The gaming event will take place at Tiivistämö from Monday to Tuesday, 13th–14th of October. The event is intended for 12–17-year-olds.
The programme will feature video gaming on PCs, consoles and with VR glasses, as well as gaming tournaments and much more. During the event, you will also be able to book a gaming slot for yourself and your friends. However, there is a limited number of slots available and the tournaments can only fit a certain number of people, so please be on time! The event is free of charge, and you can enter the premises by presenting the digital membership card of Helsinki Youth Services, Jässäri.
The opening times of the event are:
Mon 13th 14-22
Tue 14th 11-15
On Monday, Youtuber and videogame streamer Garge will be attending the event. He will organize 1v1 games and custom tournaments in Fortnite and have a Meet & Greet.
On Tuesday, there will be a tournament FC 26 where you can excellent prizes.
