Pihlajamäki youthpark

Description

Our skate container run by our young summer employees will be open on weekdays from 4 June to 31 July at 11.00–17.30

 (closed on Friday 6 June, Friday 4 July and Friday 20 June). The skate container will lend you equipment such as scooters, skateboards and BMX bikes, as well as appropriate protectors and helmets to accompany them. The programme for the summer features activities such as practising safe use for beginners, various instructed activities and fun competitions.

 There will also be young summer employees and youth workers at the park to help if first aid is needed. We recommend bringing your own water bottle to the skate park – as well as some cheerfulness, of course! Located next to the park is Café Linnunpesä, where you can buy various summer delicacies if you find yourself feeling peckish. On Friday 6 June and Friday 4 July, the skate container will be closed due to team building days held for the young summer employees and youth workers.

 We will also be closed on Midsummer Eve, i.e. Friday 20 June. The users of the park will not be insured by the City of Helsinki during the activities.
