GameDev Camp

Description

Hey you, young person aged 15–25 who's interested in game development! 

Gamehouse Sture will hold a free-of-charge game development camp from 14 to 16 June. The camp will involve developing games in small groups in the facilities of Gamehouse Sture in Vallila.

There will be no overnight accommodation, and the facilities will close at 21.30 at the latest. Above all, we hope that you can commit to the entire weekend so that your team will not be in trouble. There will be two youth workers working at the day camp. You will not need any personal work equipment, unless you want to use your own. We will provide computers, drawing tablets and other necessary equipment.

The game development camp will not be in a course or training format: you will take part in the group activities based on your own know-how and skill level. That said, we recommend that participants have at least rudimentary know-how in some area of game development.

The registration for the camp starts on the 27th of May at the Helsinki Youth Services membership card platform Jässäri.
