The Digital Camp

Description

Youth Services is organizing the Digital Camp for Helsinki residents aged 13–18, providing them with the chance to explore different aspects of digital content creation under expert guidance. The camp will be held from June 10–12, 2025, at Östersundom Camp Center. The camp starts daily at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. Departure and return take place from Itäkeskus.

The camp program includes diverse workshops focused on digital content creation and the use of technology:

🎙 Podcast production – Planning and executing audio content 

📽 360 video production – Basics of virtual reality and interactive media 

📷 Video and photography – Developing visual storytelling and expression 

🤖 Utilizing electronics and robotics – Hands-on introduction to technological applications

The Digital Camp offers participants an opportunity to develop their digital skills and strengthen their creative expertise in an inspiring environment.

The camp fee is €20 (includes meals and transportation), and participants must have a Youth Services Membership Card. Transportation is arranged collectively from Itäkeskus by HSL bus, and payment is made at the beginning of the camp (MobilePay or cash).
