Welcome to a double album release celebration on Friday, 14 October 2022, with Devenial Verdict releasing the Ash Blind album and My Funeral the Funeral Manifesto album!

Devenial Verdict

Devenial Verdict, the last act of the evening, releases a barrage of crushing anger, dissonance and distressing atmosphere in celebration of their debut album, Ash Blind. The Helsinki-based quartet has built a reputation as a hard-core live band playing extremely finely-honed music. Ash Blind will be released in October through Transcending Obscurity Records, and it has already received praise from international media.

My Funeral

My Funeral is a Helsinki band playing dark thrash metal. The band’s 17-year history includes hundreds of European gigs and three full-length albums. Their fourth full-length album, Funeral Manifesto, will be released in October 2022 through Inverse Records. It represents the band’s heaviest and darkest essence.

Omnivortex

Helsinki-based Omnivortex sows death and blast from space. The band serves technical and nuanced death metal, not forgetting the violent dialogue by the two vocalists. Omnivortex is currently preparing their second album, so we may hear some new material this October evening.

Azatoth

The evening will be opened by Azatoth, a young Finnish death metal newcomer, who have just released their second EP, Ungodly Carnage. Despite newcomers, Azatoth puts many older bands to shame with their pure raw energy and blasphemous songs. We are in for a dark mud-soaked evening that will not leave you cold.
